I would remove the rear wheels and use a power caster on plywood to pivot in a circle about the front wheels.

I tow with a Chey 2500, long bed, crew cab. It is very long, which is great on the highway but not so much for tight turns. The solution is a front hitch, often called a spotting hitch. They cost a few hundred dollars to have them professionally installed and they make near zero turns possible and they are great for precision parking needs like a narrow stall or tricky camp site.

I have to use it every time I come home, but in a summer of camping, I might use it just once or twice in campgrounds.

They are handy for several things like mounting a winch, a bike rack, or a cargo basket. I have had one on every vacation vehicle I have owned since the 80s.

Turning trailer

Don't know dimensions of your lot but I have an acre with trees and limited turn aroun space. I pull my 25 foot safari onto the lot parking pad an Push it out to street with a front mounted hitch ( class 3-4 with 2 5/16 ball) my truck is a 95 Ford F-350 psd. Work well for me not having to turn around trailer.

I use a ParkIt 360 to turn my 30 ft classic around in my driveway. I can't imagine a crane, skid steer or other heave equipment that would be a long term practical solution. (Retired general contractor)

Power Caster to turn Trailer

HI, I don’t have a lot of room on my property so I bought a PowerCaster (Powercaster.com) that allows me to maneuver my trailer on my property without my pickup truck.

I was lucky and found a used one on Craigslist where I live.

Go to the Website and maybe it will work for you.
