What mirrors do I need to buy?

I have tried more than a couple of times to use the search function to find what towing mirrors might be the best. Not having much luck with that.

TV 2015 Silverado Crew cab. Tried the CIPA 10950 slip on mirrors. When installed, they do not provide an adequate view of either side of the trailer.

Any help is appreciated.

2010 International Signature 27FB

Thanks

I've been using these on my 2015 Silverado:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

So far they are still working great. They take just a couple minutes to take off/put on, and they haven't done anything to the paint.

Tried the Fit System 3891 Deluxe Universal Clip-on didn't like them as they don't provide good vision around the back of our 30'. We went with Hensley McKesh Mirrors and I highly recommend them with the optional convex spotting mirrors.

Thumbs up Welcome Aboard....

OEM...not cheep, but do an excellent job

Even though your Silverado came without them, the wiring should be there for the install.

They were part of the tow package on our Burb.

OEM mirrors are the best.

If that's not an option, the McKesh mirrors are a good alternative.

I've used both, and feel safe in recommending either...

Please look at discountautomirrors.com.
You can get OE style aftermarket replacement towing mirrors for your truck at half the cost of OE ones from the dealer.
I ordered a pair of OE style towing mirrors for my Tundra and many GM (Silverado and Sierra) and Ford fleet vehicles from Discount Auto Mirrors.
They come with power adjust, heated, and integrated turn signals just like OE.

You can also get $59 slip-on mirrors from Amazon...they are (somewhat) custom for each different TV, and (generally) stay on the existing mirrors. Mine work like a charm, although I add some clear tape. jon

If you can find a set of Milenco Mirrors I think you will be very pleased and will have saved a few $$. I inherited a set when I bought my AS and am very happy. Just finished a 6,000 mile trip and no mirror problems at all.

Ditto, Milenco Aero's on my 2016 Silverado work great. About $100 on Amazon. $1500 for Factory ones.

I got OE style aftermarket mirrors from Discount Auto Mirrors 5 years ago for $115 each with heat, power, and turn signal..
You honestly cannot tell the difference from the $265 OE ones.
Even the OE light bulbs for the running light and turn signal work in the aftermarket mirrors.
Please check them out.

I tried the Milenco also, but eventually switched to OEM mirrors for my F-150. I lost the ability to electrically fold the mirrors, but retained heating, turn signals, and electric adjustments. The install was pretty easy after watching a YouTube video.

My Ram 2500 didn't come with trailering mirrors. I found the Voyageur camera is s fine substitute.

Mirrors are so 20th century. Get a rear view camera and you won't look back. Well, you'll look back but with a camera

You still need side view mirrors that extend beyond the sides of the trailer.
The backup camera on the truck and trailer and parking sensors are only an aid that cannot replace looking in your mirrors or turning your head and looking over your shoulder.

I used the McKesh mirrors with our first tv but no longer need them since we bought a truck with built-in tow mirrors. If you decide to go with McKesh, send me a pm if you might want mine.
