Weights and TV

Good Morning Airstreamers!

I am in the process of purchasing a 1979 Excella 500 and tow vehicle. I have searched the web for weights of the trailer and can't seem to find them. I have also reviewed the trailer weights spreadsheet by Airstream and there is no 1979 excella 500 listed. Any idea what this trailer weights? I'm looking to purchase a 1/2 ton diesel pick up and want to make sure this is enough truck to pull this Airstream.

Thanks for your assistance.
Dale

The entire manual has lot's of details in it that aren't in later materials. Funny how things change but stay the same.

It's a 1979 trailer. It was designed to be towed with 1970 cars. Any modern pickup will be more than adequate.
