Towing Airstream for first time

After towing my previous Forest River box trailer all over the place I sold and purchased a 2021 Globetrotter 27FB, I was amazed how much better this 1200 lb heavier trailer tows over the box trailer. It tracks perfect and much less wind resistance, changes lanes better and much more stable. Both trailers had Equilizer hitch anti sway installed and both trailers towed with a GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax diesel.

I noticed the same thing when we bought our ‘14 Flying Cloud 27FBQ. It makes RVing just that much more enjoyable.

Bizizzi, I experienced much the same when I moved up to my 25FB. I had a white box hybrid trailer and with the same TV and same hitch system added 5 feet in length and 2000 lbs in weight and I got the same mileage when towing. It also towed easier, was not affected by high winds nearly as much and never swayed regardless of the conditions. Airstreams are indeed the best towing trailers out there.

We have had the same experience. We tow a 26' cargo trailer on a regular basis. When we switch back to our 25FB, it is like night and day.
