Just picked up my 19' Bambi from the dealer and drove home up I-5, Hwy 12 here in Northern California. Used my Tow-n- See mirrors. Until Toyota makes some REAL towing mirrors, these will be the ones I use. They work great. And, the fact you can adjust them using the regular electric mirror controls is a real plus.

No vibration either.

I purchased a pair of Tow-N-See mirrors. They worked great until one fell off. If I was comfortable that they would stay on I would continue with them but I do not have that comfort level.

Ours fell off too, but that was only when the mirrors needed to be cleaned thoroughly or they were not tightened enough. When compared to the other clip ons which are useless, these have worked very well for us so far.

I purchased the Tow N See Mirrors because we have a Toyota Tundra and there do not seem to be any aftermarket mirrors made for our truck. At first my husband didn't want to use them. He was afraid they would mark the truck but we took them anyway to our RV driving lesson last month. Our instructor was recommending those mirrors so we used them and they worked great. You have to adjust the truck mirrors so that the arm clears the mirror frame to get a tight seal. The vacuum is created by turning a knob not your old fashioned suction cup method.......the mirrors work great. The only thing I would do differently is to buy 1 flat and 1 convex (I bought 2 flat). I would then put the convex on the driver's side because it already has a flat mirror and I would put the flat one on the passenger side because it has a convex mirror. I need to get a pair of extended mirrors and saw this thread. Looks like it died in Jan 07. Is everybody still happy with the Tow N See? Has anything better come along? Camping World does not have them in their catalog and says on web site no longer sold on line. Have these been discontinued? As always, any input appreciated.

Yes, I am still using my Tow 'N See mirrors on my '05 Suburban, and like them a lot. I've still haven't seen anything that I like better. Before the Tow 'N See, I had a pair of McKesh mirrors, and I didn't care for them that much. What I like most about the Tow 'N See is that fact that they adjust with the TV's mirror control.

I did notice the Tow 'N See Mirrors on close out at Camping World several months ago. I really don't understand this as all the other mirror that Camping World sells are junk.

If you are still interested in getting these mirrors, there are plenty on Ebay for about $25.

I have the Tow n See mirrors also & they work great. I have left the mirrors on for a solid week without them loosening up. I also tried the same type of mirror now offered by CIPA. The CIPA mirrors were terrible with vibration. The "flat" Tow n See mirror didn't work for me. Too much vibration but the convex ones work great. I have one for each side.

We are still using our Tow N See mirrors as well. We upgraded to the McKesh mirrors but my husband likes the Tow N See better....he thought the McKesh were damaging his truck.....so we are back using the Tow N See....sometimes the right one pops off...guess we need to clean the mirror better...paula

I had the McKesh first. They were hard to adjust; they were not quick to put on and take off, and they were scratching my Suburban. I bought a pair of the Tow 'N See Mirrors and tried them. I never used the McKesh again, and sold them on the Forums Classifieds.

Camping World is now selling "Suction Cup Mirrors" anybody seen these in person and are they just knock offs of the Tow N See.
They are cheaper.

No, I didn't because my assessment was strictly my opinion. A lot of folks swear by the McKesh mirrors, and really like them. Anyone looking for McKesh mirrors, knows what they are looking at. Mine were in excellent condition, and I sold them for less than 1/3 of what I paid for them new. I did include in my ad that I was selling them because I had found mirrors that I liked better.

I have the Tow N See mirrors but also tried these. Tried the Convex ones & they vibrated horribly compared to the Tow N See convex mirrors that don't vibrate. The knockoffs have a padded cushion at the end of the arm where it attaches to the mirror. this cushion allows for this terrible vibration. The Tow N See's are more soildly attached to the arm at the point where it attaches to the suction cup which makes much less vibrations.

Hi All; Just became the latest buyer of a pair of TOW-N-SEE's. bought one each flat & convex from RV outfitters, in Knoxville Tenn. Researched and found them to be best price. $54.00 including shipping. Sure going to like adjusting them from the drivers seat!!! The right one, when your alone is a pain,if it's a manual one. we purchased these mirrors for our Sprinter van and used them last week traveling throughout upstate NY, VT and MA. They really do stay put and were a great help-for around $50 the pair. We used flat on the drivers side and curved on the passenger side has anyone tried flat on the passenger side?

I use a flat Tow 'n See on the right side also, and have for the last several years. I like this better than a convex mirror.

I have had tow'n See for two years. 9k to the NE and 7k to the NW over the last two years, plus a few 3k trips in between. Never came off. Use the non-convex on both sides now - tried the conves on the right side but swiched after the first long tour. I clean the mirror with Windex and the rubber mirror mount. Never had a problem. Camping World has them in stock at most locations. Highly recommend. !!

I tried Tow n Sees when we had an SOB. They both eventually fell off. I didn't always clean the mirror and suction cup with windex before mounting them.
I bought Brian's McKesh mirrors on the forum classifieds and have since sold them.
I sold them for what I had paid for them.
I didn't have problems with scratches, but had trouble keeping them adjusted.

I finally bought a pair of replacement extendable mirrors for the Suburban on Ebay. These don't have the lit turn signals but the do extend and adjust with the remote control. They were about $220 on Ebay.
So far these seem to be working for us. Here's a picture of them. The small lower
mirror on each side is a wide angle.
