This is an old video and they have changed their puck lock a couple of times since. And, you can buy upgraded puck locks from other makers.

We use the Trimax wheel locks (both wheels) as these are the best deterrent IMO. Yes they can be cut through but prevent anyone without special equipment (and willingness to risk time and noise) from towing away on the chains or something else spur of the moment. Plus they chock the tires. As overkill we use a master lock through the hitch handle and a trimax coupler lock. As other have said, all to make it less convenient to steal!

We use the Proven Hitch lock but changed the puck lock itself for a Mul-t-lock TR 100 "Hockey Puck" padlock https://www.mul-t-lock-online.com/st...&product_id=68

LPL has 1 hitch lock he recommends. I'm at work on a mine site and can't get to YouTube to look for it, but search his channel for hitch locks and puck locks and you'll find it.

The best security for a trailer is multiple lines of defense. Make the thief spend an hour disconnecting stuff and he'll go somewhere else.

The only hitch lock recommendation that I could find from the LPL is the Proven Industries lock. Is there another one?

Proven

I had their original design for the old hitch loved it. Just received our new design for our new design hitch. I know it will work fine however it’s ugly compared to the original
