Tongue jack for 1968 Tradewind
The original tongue jack for our airstream is worn out and has gotten very hard to turn when a lot of weight is on it. We purchased a new one, a Lippert, and it worked great, but only once. It broke the second time we used it. We have been looking for a better and heavier duty model to install but when I read the reviews they seem no better than the Lippert. It only cost $50 so its no surprise it didnt hold up. I dont want an electric, only a manual turn jack. The lippert we bought had a 3/4" bolt that could be used with a drill which was a great feature but the jack was made with incredibly cheap metal. Does anyone have a recommendation for a manual heavy duty tongue jack? Thanks,
