This video not only shows the results of bad loading (verkeerde belading) but it shows the effect of speed and what happens when the critical speed is exceeded.
So we can clearly see that sway is speed dependent and that even a poorly loaded trailer can be safely towed up to a certain speed. The question is, at what speed will a properly loaded Airstream become unstable and begin to sway out of control? I'm guessing 150 to 200 mph. I would like to test this out but my tow vehicle doesn't go that fast, so I am looking for volunteers with high powered tow vehicles. Anyone interested?
