Cul de Sac?
If you have enough room, you could put in a cul de sac, with the shop opening onto the circle. You'll have to figure out what your turning radius is to make sure the circle is big enough to drive around, but if you leave the edges free of landscaping, you'll also have some room for error. One way to figure this out would be to get in with your rig before the backhoe comes, and just drive a good, tight circle in the dirt. Then measure and maybe add a couple of feet to make life easier later on.
Alternatively, I think you'd need something like a "T" shape, maybe with fillets where the arms of the T meet (to make backing and departing the turnaround part of the T easier to navigate).
