Thanks!

I just weighed the hitch assy on my Equalizer for comparison; 49.8 lbs. So it's almost the same weight, ugh.

Guess I need to keep doing those push ups.

Simple handle

Has anyone out there figured out a solution for lifting that unit, i.e. with a handle of some sort? I've seen some responses mentioning that they have...but can't seem to find those threads using search.

If you do have a solution, a picture would be appreciated!

Thank you again!
So, I built one with a little bit of flat aluminum, two bolts with nuts, and a little piece of PVC tubing. Simple enough in that it also folds easily, due to the locking nut on the lower bolt. Oh, and I also rout my umbilical and break-away though the handle when hooked to keep them from dragging and out of the way of things moving around.

Here's my effort, I think I've seen similar on the forum. All thread inside a couple of aluminum tubes

My husband cannot pickup the stinger because of medical hernia issues. We had to buy a new Hensley recently because our other one bent and would only swivel if connected to the truck. Hensley told us it would eventually stop moving. Our new stinger is heavier than the original one which was probably from 1999 since the trailer is a 99. I think just the seconds it takes me to put it in the receiver that even at 70 all that just isn't something I would do. I am pretty good shape and just pay attention to how I handle the heavy stinger. I use to put it in the Hensley hit receiver box but got worried it bent the hitch over time. I will just keep doing what I am doing.
