Power to electric tongue jack

I'm installing an electric jack. Can I attach jack wire to breakaway switch wires or should I go direct to battery. I have a 74 Airstream. Battery is at rear curbside of trailer.

There should be hot wire in bundle taped up in front by where jack mounts, I think breakaway switch hot wire is in this bundle Bill

Find the wire that goes to the plug that is the 12V charge line, and hook to it. It goes to the battery.
