OEM style backup camera is great!

Initially I bought a wireless backup camera for hitching up and encountered the dreaded Bluetooth interference, since my 2012 Silverado has Bluetooth. I could muddle through the interference but looked for something better.
I finally settled on an OEM style kit with improved camera from GMbackupcams.com. The install was pretty easy resulting in a clean look, great view of the stinger and tongue, and no interference. Since I do not have factory Nav, the picture is in the rear view mirror, which I like. This is a great kit although they do not do phone tech support, only e-mail. If you consider going this route, PM me, there are some installation tips I can provide.

I second the factory route.

Ours was installed at the factory, and the screen is the factory nav system in the dash.

I had a wired after-market system previously, and I placed the camera right behind the hitch ball. It made a one shot hitch-up easy.

This factory system has the camera just off center to the left, so I had to re-learn what "just right" was in the screen. But after that, I like it.

Regards,

JD
