New WD System

Anyone out there using the Andersen Hitches WD System? It is supposed to eliminate all of the popping and snapping that other systems inherently have.

A long & involved thread on WOODALLS in the Towing subforum currently, IIRC.

Having read it I doubt it can do what a more conventional, top WDH can do.

Cheap, though. As the man said, okay for your trailer.

Twinkie, bumping this up, hoping from input from actual users. Got to be some on this board. Maybe they are just too busy out traveling with their Airstreams to take time to post a review.☺

Not too sure about this thing. Sure looks like it would put a lot of stress on the coupler lock pin. I read some of the other threads, other forums. Like a lot of others, I want to see actual Cat scale weights showing it distributing weight as described. That would be simple for them to do if it can. Those don't look like System 7 chains to me either, but I ain't no trucker.

Read the thread over on WOODALLs. These questions as extended tech discussion and more plus some early reports.
