Moving using my AS

Selling my Park Model in Gold Canyon AZ and moving some household items to Chatham Ontario. Plan on using my 2004 25ft AS to haul as much as possible. The GVWR IS 6300 and the UVW is 5220. I plan to pull the trailer dry and will not be living in the unit on the trip. Will keep the load low and centered over the wheels , and will work for a tounge weight of 1000 lbs. I think my load maximum will be about 1000lbs. Towing with a 2014 Dodge Hemi. Comments please

Sounds like you've got it right. Just make sure you pack or secure things in the trailer so they don't shift while underway.

Sounds very good on the loading, we tow with a Ram Hemi which is a good match for a 25.

A thousand pounds of HHG is not much more (or in many cases ANY more than what is typically carried in a camper anyway.

I was carrying a fairly heavy folding canopy in the trailer and realized that it was moving and bouncing around during towing which of course is hard on the floor. Now I put it in the TV. Also be careful with the bath / shower in putting anything on the floor because it's more brittle and a heavy object (like the bottle jack I was putting in my bath tub) bouncing around could do some damage (fortunately it did not cause damage in mine but I realized that it could)

What? You had a bottle of jack bouncing around in your shower?

Definitely sounds like alcohol abuse!
