Mirror / Mirror what type of Mirror? Jeep GC

New to pulling my AS, 22FB Bambi/ Sport , MY TV is a 2014 Grand Cherokee and I Have been unable to locate a good set of mirrors, Jeep does not have an option for tow mirrors ( a disappointment because they offer so many other options) I have searched the catalogs and Camping World store and I am at a loss.
A company in Australia / ClearView make an aftermarket but pricey $750 with shipping and installation looks difficult. They are very large and look to be cumbersome in parking lots.

I would appreciate any suggestions, especially from GC owners. Thanks in advance ! Dave

I have a set of CIPA strap on with spot mirrors. I will give you a good price on them. I used them for one season with my 05 tundra. They worked good on that truck, but my 2011 has towing mirrors, so I no longer need them.

We bought Milenco Grand Aero tow mirrors this year and used them cross-country. Very stable, good visibility, very easy on/off, mount the support bar over or under factory mirrors, they look good. Highly recommend.

I towed my 2014 23 FB FC with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel from Seattle to St. John NL (13,700 miles rt). The Millenco mirrors were terrific all the way. After returning home I dropped one and it cracked. I was able to buy a replacement for under $30 US. I did have to order it online from Millenco in Europe, but I received it within 2-3 weeks. I also carry spare bolts (available from Millenco or Airstram desler) just in case I lose one, though the mirrors survived very windy conditions and very rough roads on Newfoundland. These are the very best mirrors for the Jeep. No interference with the powered/heated Jeep mirror EXCEPT you must remove them if you want to tilt the mirrors all the way in towards the window - or you could leave your windows open. Be sure the connectors are tight before heading out each day.

I, too, have a set of Milenco Grand Aeros which I had thought might replace the McKesh mirrors we have used for so many years (with 3 different Jeep Grand Cherokees). One half day of driving with the Milenco products and I switched back to the McKesh mirrors with a sigh of relief. When my ambition to do so emerges, I will be putting the Milencos on eBay.

We do use pads under the McKesh straps where they stand free of the doors on our 2011 Grand Cherokee. That keeps the straps from vibrating in the wind.

I have McKesh style mirrors ( not McKesh!) on my Dakota because there was no add-on available in 2003. They give great visibility but tend to work loose over time and need adjusting about once per trip. If I had the choice I might have used the Milenco Mirrors. That seems to be what most dealers are putting on the smaller tow vehicles like VW Tourag

McKesh Tip. Those nylon straps STRETCH. Even overnight if you attach them the night before you tow. Always takes a click or three on the ratchet. Make it part of pre tow checklist. Otherwise they have worked fine.
