Mirror extender for F150
I am pulling a 25 foot Classic with a Ford F150. The mirrors just don't extend out enough to see well to the sides of the trailer. What recommendations (brands and sources) do you have?

I had mirror extenders with my 2017 F150. Don’t waste your money. If I were you I would just buy towing mirrors. You can put them on in about 15 minutes. Very easy. When I bought my 2020 XLT F150, I bought it with BLISS, but I couldn’t get towing mirrors with BLISS with the XLT trim. So I went to boostautoparts.com and bought aftermarket mirrors with BLISS for 480. They are very nice mirrors. The towing mirrors far outweigh their ability to see then the attached extenders that I had with my 2017 F150.
And the fact you can exchange them so easily in about 15 minutes makes it no sense whatsoever to buy extenders. So I will probably keep my towing mirrors on during the months I will be towing, and then put my regular mirrors back on in the winter months. I go through more car washes in the winter and the extended towing mirrors can be a problem.

I have the Zap-it system that I ordered from Amazon. They have lenses for the turn signals- not sure about Blis. Most importantly, they don’t fall off! Super easy to put on, and don’t look like a snatchable accessory.
My trailer is 6” narrower than yours, so Daquenzer’s comments may apply in your case.

You’ll pay a much more. It is really very very simple to change the mirrors. There’s a YouTube video on how to do it. Literally takes 15 minutes and both mirrors are out. I was going to have this done on my 2017 F150 and they said it was going to cost 750. Ridiculous.
Had I known how easy it really was I would have done it myself. My cost for heated mirrors, with BLISS, turn signals, puddle lamp was 480. And they look great.

I installed towing mirrors from Boost Auto Parts. They look and function just like the OE towing mirrors from the heavy duty trucks, and they were relatively easy to install. I’m pleased with them.

Tow mirrors
I put on a pair of K-source extensions on my 2017 F-150 and they work well. I’m sure the Ford tow mirrors would be the best for visibility but when I check them out online there were mixed reviews. From Ford with a new switch to make them fold, extend, heat & blind spot they were $1200. The install is easy so I was going to do that myself. I figured for $50 it was worth a try for the K-source. They allow all my factory options on the mirrors to function so far I’m happy with them.

I used Cipa towing mirrors on a Yukon and liked them so much I bought them for my F150 also. They slip onto the existing mirrors and work great. No vibration at all. Very tough construction. Use Cipa!

I bought a pair from Amazon which were cheap and fasten over and past the existing mirrors. Work good and easy on and off.

I have used CIPA Custom [fit] Towing Mirrors for more than 30 years on several vehicles. They are quick easy on-off, fit like a glove, and no vibration. Today, I have them on my F-150.

Third vote for Cipa mirror attachments. Very easy on and off. No slipping or vibrating going down the road. Custom fit for variety of vehicles.

I had a set of CIPA mirrors for my Suburban, and they worked great.
Alas, CIPA does not make (but maybe will, I hope) mirrors for my new Ford Expedition.

I had a set of CIPA mirrors and liked them pretty much until one fell off in I-77. I never liked how the curb side magnified so much adjusting it was a nightmare. If you felt it move, it was too much.
So, I ordered a set of tow mirrors. Remove the stock, replace with the new.
You can get mirrors from $150 all the way to $500 for the EOM mirrors. I split the difference based of reviews, and got the Trail Ridge from 1AAuto. (best price).

Have used these after-market extenders for 4 seasons on my 2015 F150 w/my Safari 25. Happy with the performance, durability and appearance.

Just ordered tow mirrors from boostauto
Have a 2018 F150 pulling a 25FC.
For the past 2 years I have used the clip on mirrors from etrailer
K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors
https://www.etrailer.com/Towing-Mirr...ID=20154001702
They went on and off easy and were stable when driving. However I really never found them ideal.
Tonight I just ordered tow mirrors from boostauto https://boostautoparts.com/collections/ford-tow-mirrors with BLIS, puddle lights, and power fold. Pricey yes. Web site is good, has nice youtube instructions, and I even talked to a real person on the phone.
Its the first thing I have ordered in a while that I didn't make a spreadsheet comparing at least 5 options. However I had been googling options for the past year plus.
Will post an update during the install and use

Snap and Zap are the way to go. Very easy on and off. Look like stock when on and reasonably priced. Used mine on F150 for thousands of miles. Most people thought they were stock mirrors.

Considering doing the same. Let us know what you think compared to your previous solution.
