Learning to Tow

I want to tow my silver girl, on my own. Can anyone suggest towing lessons in the Seattle area? Thank you in advance!

Good decision!

I'm not in Seattle but I would suggest searching for a local CDL (commercial drivers license) facility and seeing if they offer an RV safe driver class. My wife and I did that the first weekend we had our trailer. Best decision we made. Good luck!

You might contact these people, they have an instructor in Seattle. They focus on motorhome training, but maybe they could do something for you.

RV School

Failing that, find a willing neighbor and start off small towing a U-Haul trailer. Buy the insurance though!

We also went to a CDL school in Phoenix, my wife had never towed before and after 3 hours the instructor had her on the freeway. We learned how to back up and even how to parallel park. In addition we got a discount on our car insurance.

Well worth it.
