Inverter voltage on TV
I have a Ford 250 ( 2016). There are 2 inverter outputs - both marked 150 Watts. I'm trying to decide on a compressor to add air to tires when I need to and I bought a "FINI" by Dewalt. It pulls 9.5 amps and blows the fuse.
Anyone know what the amp current max is on those circuits. I can't find any information on that either in the owners manual or on line.
Lacking that, can someone recommend a good 12 v compressor that won't take all day to fill a tire ?

9.5 amps @ 120 volts is over 1000 watts, no wonder your blew the fuse on your truck's 150 watt outlet! I don't think you will find any 120 volt AC compressor that will draw a low enough amount to work on an outlet rated at 150 watts.

Watts (150 in your case) divided by volts (120 in USA) equals 1.25 amps.
9.6 amps at 120 volts is 1152 watts.
You are overloading the truck's invertor by 10 times.
Be glad only a fuse is blown.
These onboard invertors are meant to charge a phone or laptop.
There are several 12 volt compressors, they work but are slow. I carry one as a last resort or a way to top a tire off while parked somewhere.
Regards,
JD

I don't know about "good", because the gauge was broken on the first one and wrong on its replacement, but I used my own gauge to calibrate where to fill to and kept it. It tops off a tire in a minute or so, I've never filled one completely. Between the long 12V cord and the air hose, I can reach all the tires on my 30' Classic and TV from the trailer's front battery compartments. I have had it for about two years now and used it several times during that period. This may not be the same as mine because mine had a nylon carrying bag, but it looks like mine and the specs are the same.

Harbor Freight Compressor
I actually mis spoke when I suggested I needed a compressor to blow up the tire. What I meant was top it off. The unit at Harbor freight looks like a good candidate. Al, do you know how many amps that pulls off the batteries ?
I suspect for an emergency it really doesn't make a difference, they will get charged up again.

You might want to consider getting an air compressor that will also be usable for winterizing your trailer (if you every go north with it in the winter.) I use the Viair 450P. This is an automatic compressor with a long pressure hose that will shut off when you release the trigger on the filling attachment. It has a gauge on too. You will need to connect it directly to the battery. When using it for my trailer I hook it to the house batteries although you can connect to the TV battery if you wish. It is a continuous duty compressor and draws too many amps to work from a cigarette lighter.

Compressors
I found this compressor on Northern Tool's site, which I think should do the job just fine. Fortunately, I do not need to winterize my trailer. Living in FL does have that benefit; among others. I appreciate the suggestion, though. This model only goes t 120 lbs PSI, but that is sufficient. The TV tires take 65 lbs and the AS tires take 80 #, so it should suffice.

Can't believe a 2016 F250 only does 150W. My 2015 F150 came with 400W. I found a compact 120v compressor at Wally World, I'll look at its specs tomorrow,

Home Depot has a 12V lighter power supply air compressor than runs well. I've used mine a few times already. Packs away nicely underneath my back seat of the F-250. It's not super fast but sure has saved me a few times on the highway.
