We do proven industries plus two more locks for the coupler and the chain. Will probably add boots later, but there are at least a dozen airstreams in our storage facility that are easier pickings than this.

The Bolt trailer coupler pin lock was a joke -a tech pulled it off without even unlocking it because the thin pin is not angled enough. But the Bolt hitch lock works pretty well to slow down the casual and random thief.
We store our Airstream in a locked and guarded lot, but there are times when we are traveling that we want to leave for a full day and still have an Airstream to come back to. Have a friend who left his trailer (not an Airstream, but a nice trailer) and his hitch in a forest service campground in CA and came home after a day of sightseeing to....nothing! Someone had taken everything...the trailer, the BBQ, the chairs...who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.

Yes, well that should have been evident when you installed it. The Bolt coupler pin lock is built for couplers 1/2" and larger, ours is 3/8. All you have to do is put a large washer on the side opposite the lock and push the lock tightly onto the pin. When the 90 degree bent piece is jammed against the washer, you cannot rotate it out of the coupler. A large nut, maybe 5/16, would work as well or better.

Think outside the box. Put a cover on the trailer. They're hard to put on and equally hard to take off. Many require a ladder...and that doesn't make it any easier to take off. No thief is going to spend the time trying to figure out how to remove the cover or drive down the street with a covered trailer. They'd sooner take the ones with a lock on the hitch.

Hitch Locks, Trailer Locks
Only problem is that covers on shiny aluminum leave ugly wear marks and scratches in the Airstream skin.
Not a real deterrent either. Thieves don’t care what the Airstream looks like, they just tow it a short distance away to a private spot and finish doing their deed.

Besides having the Proven Industries Coupler Lock, I also installed the propane lock, xchcoks with locks, brahma wheel locks , and a pewag chain for my parallel eu2200i and comapnion generators locked in a Zombie-Box, and lashed to my trailer A-Frame. Overkill? Absolutley. Peace of mind? Almost.

All you need now is a guard duck armed with an RPG launcher. (Pearls before Swine comic strip reference)

I am more concerned about my hitch head on my truck being stolen while out camping vs. my trailer. I’ve heard about people having these ‘snatched’ especially while out at restaurants, venues, etc while on camping trips. That would make for a bad day when it’s time to pack up and go home. The Bolt lock looks good but I read some bad Amazon reviews about it coming apart while towing. Maybe operator error? Never had one of these things that fit exactly snug. Also what about newer trucks with push button start? Will the ‘glovebox’ key on the truck key fobs work as far as keying the lock?

I had a short piece of receiver tube welded onto the trailer a-frame. It is out of the way and out of the dirt when the trailer is unhitched. I use my BOLT locking hitch pin to secure in this receiver tube.
I also use a " Hitch Grip" to make removing it from the receiver easier on my back.

I don't know if Proven Industries has improved its design. I hope so. I bought the base Proven Industries lock and then replaced it with the Mul-T-Lock he recommended in the video (and which appears in GMFL's picture).

How about a length of chain covered with vinyl run between the holes in each of the two wheels (if you have dual axle) and locked together, The higher quality of the chain and lock, the higher your security level.
Our favorite: three German Shepherd guard dogs; two inside and loose, one outside !

They most definitely have improved the design. The stainless puck comes with a Medeco cylinder, the cylinder has been rotated to make it so that it isn't susceptible to the drill attack, and the puck itself is better hardened.
Locklab (aka bosnianbill) has done a more recent video:
