Hitch height upgraded from 2003 4X4 2500 RAM to 2020 RAM 2500

I have a 1985 25'Soverign that I pulled with a 2003 4X4 2500 RAM with 16" tires, Ball height was 18.5" level using the original Equalizer hitch.



New RAM 25004X4 truck has 20" tires. Any recommendations for ball height or drop?

A friend of mine in our Airstream club had a similar problem with his new 2020 Dodge Ram. The solution for him was to put a B & W receiver under the factory receiver and used his old hitch equipment.

we had to buy an extra long shank for our '18 RAM 2500 to get the trailer level with our Equalizer hitch. We also use an extender so we can open the tailgate with the trailer attached. The new trucks are so much higher than the older omes.
