Thank you

I wanted to say thank you to all of you amazing folks who took the time out of your day to provide guidance and advice.

Attempting something new and unfamiliar can be daunting and I think it is pretty cool that this platform is available for us all to connect.

I learned a great deal on this maiden voyage and will pass it along. In surfing you start off as a kook and put in the hours to ascend. What is the term for an airstream newbie? I am definitely that and am ok with it.

In summary, the trip went well and was safe. As an owner of a Toyota Tacoma who has never towed, it was quite the experience jumping into a Dodge Ram Turbodiesel 2500 and tow a 25 ft Airstream. It felt like being in an airplane and made any incline/decline along the Grapevine, or bump/ditch on the crowded 5 in Los Angeles a smooth ride.

Safe travels everyone, make it a great summer!

Us ProPride and Arrow hitch folks just dial in a little more or less on the “jacks” - the chains and friction bars just never gave me the confidence in high winds or panic stop situations…

Singlefin - congrats on utilizing the proper tow vehicle, you would not believe the difference that can make in comfort & safety towing your “rig”!
