Disabling electric jack

Seems like a pretty good way to deter thiefs. Bothers me if the do get the lock off they can easily jack up trailer... Any opinions or suggestions on ways to easily disable?

The simplest way is to remove the fuse. How many thieves travel with a spare fuse?

A pocket knife to cut and strip the wires, twist them together, and the jack is working. They don't need a fuse.....

If the thieves are that smart, then they deserve to get the trailer!

I agree. Cant stop all thiefs, it they're going to hot wire it good for them. I ordered a new megahitch coupler but it won't be in for a week or so. I store at a site with hundreds of tenants. Just trying to deter that idiot that sees it and gets a "bright" idea.

We have and use a Megahitch when the trailer is in storage in a public yard (vs. @ home.) It looks pretty bullet proof and would be way more effective and easier to use than trying to disable the jack.
