Coupler lock
What is everyone using for a coupler lock these days? Many of the coupler locks mentioned in old threads on this subject are discontinued or no longer available. I really like the design of the Guardian G37, but it is no longer in production. There's a Master lock model 36 million hat looks good, but I cannot tell if I will fit my coupler. Also the Atwood model 89008 looks good, but again, no idea if it will fit my coupler.

Yes I have one only dif. from pics. is when key is turned there is hole that hex key goes into turns bolt up into coupler then turn withdraw hex key, turn reg. key back to normal pos. I may have missed the hole in pic. but it is fine lock. Do not lose key because only way to remove is pick lock, it can not be cut off.

As with AW - get a Megahitch vault! And keep the insurance premiums paid. Pat

Same as AWCHIEF, and yes mine hangs down like that. Don't lose the barrel key...it's hard to pick.

Bono - I have never heard about anyone using a hitch lock on the Hensley/PRoPride. Seen a few that had a locking hitch pin in the shank. Most that I have seen let the shank pull out of the TV receiver and leave the hitch hanging on the trailer coupler. There is usually a padlock securing the chains.
So guess that's a good question. Maybe someone has a better answer. Pat

Same as AWCHIEF, plus a kryptonite padlock thru the hole in the latch. Then in storage I pull the fuse for the hitch Jack and cover the whole thing with an old vinyl wheel cover. Security knows what I've done, know me and $20 a couple of times a year does not hurt.

I would assume, tip the security person a $20 every now and then, they might keep a better watch on your stuff.

Unless they take everything apart, they would need a stinger to steal it. I take my stinger with me. I'm not sure why people leave it with the trailer, but I do see it.

I was born and raised in NYC - payoffs and gratuity are a way of life. I thank them for working all night, hand them a gift card or a $20.00 bill and my trailer is watched very closely as others have been broken into, could even be by the guards.
