Blue Ox hitch-clamp on or bolt on?

Looking at buying a Blue Ox distribution hitch, and don't know if I should purchase the bolt on or clamp on one. It looks like both can be easily taken off the trailer frame. Is there any advantage of one over the other? I am looking at buying the 550lb to pull my Caravelle. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Don
