Blue Ox antiSway WD

My 2018 FC 25FB came with a blue ox antisway WD hitch and the ball is worn squeeking,
The shaft diameter on ball is 1 1/4
Took me time to get the right tools to work on it

Needs
3/4 socket wrench bought a 3/4 adapter for 1/2 drive
1 7/8 socket bought this from tractor supply

Bought a new stainless steel ball
Thought this might help others

Good information.

Don’t forget regular applications of hitch ball grease to keep the new ball from wearing prematurely.

Check torque spec to tighten 1 1/4” nut, about 430 lb-ft?

1/2” drive ain’t got enough oomph.

This is correct, at a minimum pick up a 3/4” Breaker bar and use that. Also pick up a 1” socket for the cams and use the breaker bar and the 1” socket instead of the stamped wrench they give you.
