I'm trying to decide on a bed slide but am scratching my head. Bed slide or bed glide, cargo glide, glide ease. Does anyone have experience. Worried a bit about add weight too

I have various suppliers for many many types of hardware, as well as numerous years in the fabrication business. Explain what you are trying to achieve in what location?

Bedslide
I had a "Bed Slide" installed in my 2006 Chevy 2500 HD over 11 years ago. It has worked perfect. It makes for easy loading/unloading of camping equipment and a great place to set a generator. Just extend the slide out to it's first stop/lock and fire it up. No more crawling up into the bed to get something in the back. I picked up 2 large black plastic storage boxes that set on the slide which helps keep all the cargo organized and secure (out of sight/out of mind). There have been numerous enhancements over the years since I got mine, but I'm very happy with the one I have. Check them out. (I am not employed by this company or acting as an agent for this company, just providing my experience with their product).

In another thread, Wilbur McLamb spoke highly of the Highway Products XT 2000 FYI.

I use the top of a large plastic box. I set the generators on the plastic top. When I need the generators I pull on the plastic top and everything slides out. Works great for me for two Honda 2000s in the bed of a 2015 F250 with a 3/8" horse trailer mat. There is a piece of wood separating the generators so they don't bang against each other.

I'm seriously considering a "Decked" unit. A 2000 lb capacity deck 12 inches up from the truck bed, with two large drawers under it and a storage compartment in each corner.
http://decked.com/truck/
I have a cap, and everything I load in the truck will still fit on the 'deck'. Drawers will be for water hoses, cables, adapters, and all the other errata that tends to clutter things up.
