I have a 2018 27' Globetrotter and I pull it with a 2018 F250 diesel. But, I use a Blue Ox hitch so I won't be much help on issues hitch related.

Just returned from a 7 week, 6200 mile trip to Colorado and averaged 13.5 mpg combining both with and without trailer. 17.5 mpg in town. Moved from a 2017 3.5 F150 and the change in vehicles made all the difference in the world. Semi trucks no longer push me around and, with the F150 stayed around 63 mph, I feel safer with the F250, even at higher speed.
All this to say, and showing my complete ignorance of your new hitch, I don't see how the towing experience with the "better" hitch could improve that much. At the same time, I've never used that hitch so I'm in no place to be speaking.

You will certainly enjoy your new trailer and hitch. Congrats on a great choice in trailers, hitches, and trucks.

tks for your answer,
the reason i am looking at the andersen is because it is so light, and i am getting up there in age so i dont want to struggle too much.
