7 pin upside down

On my 2023 25FB, I managed to plug in the 7 pin connector upside down on the F150. Yes, It is possible when doing hookup, early morning, dark, and raining. Only problem was the electric brakes locked. After, correcting all seemed well with testing the brakes, etc. No blown fuse. A pin diagram showed the running lights would have been in the electric brake position. Anyone know of other issues? Should I check with plug in tester? Thx.

Unless you left it this way for a length of time or drove around with the brakes applied, there is a good possibility that you escaped real damage.

But, if you didn't notice that the brakes were being applied all the time like this then I would think that a brake inspection is in order to make sure you didn't do any damage.

Thx. There was just a couple of light tugs in the driveway, then I realized the problem. Maybe connected 5 minutes. I think of it as the same effect as breakaway switch pin being pulled.
