Can I purchase an adapter for this at an auto parts store?

You might consider changing your personal info from "looking" to a description of which AS you have. That would help people work out which parts you might be looking for.

If you want to go from a 7 way spade (RV) in your vehicle to a 4 way flat (boat trailer, etc) there's an adapter.
If you only have the 4 way flat in your vehicle, then you can make your own adapter, but you won't have brakes or 12v.
There's not a commercially made one I know of because it's technically illegal.
