Excited to purchase our first Airstream. We have a 2018 Yukon Denali with a Tow capacity of 8400lb. 2 adults with 1 infant- we started looking small(single axle
caravel, etc) but with further research we want to buy an airstream that will work for us in the longer term. I think the 25' globetrotter/international would be ideal, but I'm concerned that the GVWR will be 87% of the max of our TV. 80%+ use will be in Texas, no major mountains. Is this safe to tow? Many online source cite the "80%" rule. Curious to hear thoughts. Safety is our biggest priority, with our baby, hence the nod to a dual-axle trailer.
