I recently came across a 2000 31 Excella that was priced to low to pass up and I pulled the trigger. Now my problem is currently I have a 2011 Yukon SLT 4WD and tow package and I am wondering if this will work well enough to get us started in our camping adventures. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!
Honest question: why would you consider that a problem?
It's a full size body on frame SUV, powerful enough to tow most anything, with the payload to match. You'll be just fine.
However, keep in mind that a tow vehicle is only part of the equation. Getting the right hitch, correctly dialled in, is just as important, if not more so, than getting a brawny vehicle.
Thanks for the reply!! I was thinking it would be fine until I started reading some of the other threads in the is forum. Got me thinking I might have bit off more than I could chew. I am going to take it in and have someone get me equipped with the right hitch.
