Talking 2008 Toyota Tundra and a VTX 1300

I am about to take off on my new full time life in my trailer. I need to know if anybody has loaded a VTX 1300 in the bed of there tundra and closed the tail bed?

or Do i need to take the door off?

I did my first run with the new rig...I installed the weight distribution bars and it was very smooth tow.

The door did not close all the way. The fishtail on my 1300 was a bit too long even at the angle. So the door was strapped closed...

Otherwise the Tundra is a beast. Towed smooth as a bell at 60 kph in 4th gear. I took it easy on the hilly road from Philly to Ohio...

i will say this is the perfect set up.

Ok so i did it...from philly to ohio and ohio to texas. not a single problem. Could not close the trunk all the way, used a strap the fishtail on the bike was a bit too long..so it was the only problem.

I really do not want to take the tail off...
