2006 Dakota

My father-in-law passed away recently and his kids are wanting to sell his 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab V8 Magnum 2wd (74,000 miles). I presently have a 2000 Ford F250 4WD 7.0 diesel that was used by the PO to haul a large fifth wheel around (166,000 miles). It has plenty of muscle to pull my 31' Sovereign (as soon as I am able to get the axles changed). I think it gets about 15 mpg.
What's drawing me to consider the Dodge (besides its good looks) is its smaller size which would be welcome change when driving around town- without the trailer.
My question is whether-or-not the Dodge will adequately tow the Airstream?

I had a Dodge Durango (SUV version of the Dakota), and I don't think you will be happy with it pulling a 31 footer, even a vintage as you have. Just my opinion.
