1994 Diesel Landyacht 35 towing capabilities

Fellow we bought it from used to tow more than 5,000 lbs. Anyone know if this is safe?

You can do anything you want as long as you don't get caught.

If you have an accident, your vehicle('s) will be inspected for mechanical and safety violations. If any are found, whether directly responsible for the accident or not, your insurance will/may be void and you are open to a possible/probable lawsuit.

Good judgment and common sense will make the day, any day. Don't bet your life on something that will haunt you too the end.

You live in mountain country. Your motorhome was never engineered to pull more than that specified on the door sticker.

Each connection and component besides the tags of weight allowable. My hitch is Reese with a 5000 pound tag, the ready brute says 4000, my model of AS used 3000 as a limit. You would have to get an expert to look at all the components and tags plus to see if the frame connections have been strengthened.
