1952 Flying Cloud trailer 7 pin wiring

We're the proud need owners of a 51 flying cloud. We had new axel, wheels and brakes put on and now I've started to rewire the harness but it seems very different from any others I've looked up. I opened up the wall inside by the hitch to replace the original wires. There was no on board battery or brake away switch and it was temporally wired as 4 pin for the drive home. The wires in the photo are the original wires for the trailer. White went to left turn, yellow for run lights, blue right turn, green reverse, the black and red wires go to the brakes, there was also another white on the 4 way to the frame for ground and another green wire (looks like a retro-fit) to the interior 12V lights (currently the only 12v house systems).

I know I need to wire my new 7 pin (old wire Stubbs will be removed and the modern color code used) green running lights, brown right turn, yellow reverse, red left turn. White to ground on frame, black to battery +ve does it need a fuse? (amp?), blue to brake (fuse amp?).

I'm guessing the original black and red wires to the brakes were +ve and -ve. I need to run a new wire to these since it's badly corroded. Do I need to run a blue wire and a ground or can I take ground from the frame near the brakes?

The green house lights I'll wire to the new trailer battery via fuse block for other 12v house systems.

Lastly how does my new brake-away wire into this new system?

Thanks Duncan
