Recommended mods for a 25' Safari?

I just purchased a near perfect 25' safari from my father-in-law. Since taking possession of it a couple months ago I have made a few upgrades to better fit my family.

Here's what's been done:
-installed a Prodigy RF brake controller on the trailer. Now it can be towed by multiple vehicles with a wireless brake controller plugged into a power port (works awesome).
-the rear twin beds have been made into a king.
-shower door was removed and a curtain was installed (increasing shower opening 4")

This weekend I will be installing an electric heater kit to my "gas only" water heater.

I'm considering installing a better fresh/grey/black monitoring system as well as an electric tongue jack. The bathroom is so small, changes may be made there too, or maybe just a new toilet.

What have y'all done to yours? Any suggestions?

Matt

Thanks! I've been a tent camper my entire life until getting this AS (one extreme to the other). I absolutely love the super quick set-up time allowing more time for family stuff.....not to mention the increased comfort factor. And being down in ga I LOVE having the A/C. Taking the family to St. Augustine Beach in a couple weeks.

Welcome to the forum.

Hi, if your trailer doesn't already have one, change to a digital thermostat.

My A/C is controlled on the unit, but the gas heat needs one. Any recommendations on one for just the heat? Can I just pick one up at Home Depot or is there something special with an RV one?

Hi, I just bought one at Home Depot; Since the trailer is not used every day, I chose not to have one with the five or seven day programmable type. I bought the simplest digital thermostat that I could find. It has a switch for air conditioner and I just leave that part turned off. Make sure that it is for a low voltage system.
