I had to select other. The pill is not at the house, but at the RV Storage yard where she is safe and sound, out of the elements and in the shade. It's about 20 minutes away. Next trip is in 2 weeks? For sure in 4 weeks at the next great 4CU adventure in Tucson, AZ.

Mine is sitting in a friends driveway in NC. I've been living in it there since early Nov but am temporarily at home in VA. Will be reunited with it next week and am looking forward to it very much!

I'd like to say ready to roll, but the Safari is in storage with 20" of snow on the roof overhead. I'd like to say I'll always apply the Harley Rule of waiting for one good rainfall after the last road salting but I'm already chomping at the bit.
The Argosy? It could roll but still has major deficiencies (tires, HW heater, furnace). Herniated cervical disks led me to retire early and move on to the Safari. The Argo would be jealous if it had feelings (who said it didn't!?).
Oh ... my dream Airstream! Vintage of course. But I think the road will capture me and keep me from looking backwards.

My current dream (31 classic) is usually attached to my truck. My future dream (a 21 or 23) was made in 1962 (a good year) and will require some work when I retire.

In front of our house and ready to roll. Our new '07 25'FB Iinternational is what we decided was our "last" AS. We spent considerable time looking at other trailers and believe this is just perfect of us. I always wanted a vintage, but my husband wanted to spend his free time on the road and not on restoration and maintenance...so here we are. I'm not a bit disappointed that we went new rather than vintage, though.

Dream Airstream
I just picked up what might be the grooviest model Airstream made in the 70's, the 25' 1976 Caravanner. A fairly rare model with lots of windows and a wonderful, open floorplan. I like the 25' size because it's easy to tow with my Land Rover LR3, and it fits in most state parks and campgrounds. But it's big enough to feel spacious and comfortable if you end up spending some time in it. The Caravanner also has a relatively huge bathroom and shower/tub combo. It's got this cool island kitchen and curvy cabinet and countertop as well. Big refrigerator, 10 gallon water heater too. Obviously, I'm smitten.
I have a 1999 25' Safari as well. It's our working camper, and by that I mean everything actually works on it, which is not yet the case on the project Caravanner. But I'm really looking forward to fixing up the Caravanner, I think it's got the potential to be an immensely cool vintage camper.
Right now it's sitting in my driveway, blocking access to my garage. This isn't going to work for long as we live in Truckee CA and we get a bit of snow in the winter - an average season is 25 feet. Hope to work it down the hill to a spot next to my workshop so I can work on it without alienating my wife more than I already have by buying a second Airstream!
Anyone else out there think the Caravanner is cool?

She's in the barn, looking grumpy
Because her owners are not taking her out this weekend.
Got to head north to visit our tiny vacation home, need to insure it's still standing. We have only used our house "up north" about 10 times since we got our Airstream in 2003......
We really, really love our Airstream and the freedom she represents.

Our perfect Bambi (Lily Pad...Rivet, Rivet..) is patiently sitting next to the house under the Bambi Port, hooked up to 30 amp and ready to roll at a moment's notice...just need to put in the food, check the tires, and give it a bath...and we're off! I'm itchin' to go...haven't been able to get out since June!
But it's gonna cool off real soon here and away we go!
