Just for fun: Top 3 Airstream trailer names
Here are my three favourite Airstream trailer names:
1. Flying Cloud (I'm partial to the trailer, too - got one!)
2. Sovereign of the Road (not just "Sovereign", but the whole clause. Gutsy.)
3. Excella (This would make a great name for my next daughter, if my wife will
allow it!)
Worst name for a trailer in the whole wide world: Shasta.

1) Globe Trotter (Small and nimble enough to go anywhere on the planet)
2) Caravel (Refers to small, light ships of the 15th and 16th centuries)
3) Falcon (Reminicient of it's time, when everything had a cool name)

First has to be Flying Cloud. There is no name that more evokes the days of wood ships and iron men on long voyages far from home.
The Flying Cloud made the fastest voyage from New York to San Franciso in the days of the clipper ships. She also logged an incredible 384 miles in one day.
And her navigator was a woman.

Wee Wind - hands down my all time fav!
Conjours images of stealth travel - no aero-drag.
Or... the down wind experience in the alley of an all night pub.....
Cheers

1. International - sounds tres chic and exotic -ooo-la-laa!
2. Sovereign of the Road - (Hey! you better kneel and pay your respects, all you SOB's!)
3. Overlander - sounds like you can take it anywhere, no roads needed - just pull that bad boy right UP that cliff!

I always though that the Caravanner was a neat name and one beautiful trailer with all the windows.

1. Another vote for Flying Cloud (surprise!) What could be easier to tow than a "flying cloud?"
2. Sovereign of the Road (so much more dignified than "road king" or "highway queen.")
3. World Traveler (what would YOU rather be doing?)
Worst: Weekend Warrior. (Sounds like a geeky paintballer from Iowa).

Favorites:
1. Globetrotter
2. Caravel and/or Caravelle
3. Overlander
Worst:
Bambi - I know I will take some heat on this but is there anything more feminine sounding for a trailer name? I owned one when I was 16. Boy,did I take some heat for that name!
