It's Thursday and we love our Airstream cause it's taking us on our full timing adventure to our next five campgrounds, which we have just booked. Last one is 3 weeks at a site near Plymouth, South Devon, UK over Christmas and New Year Holiday. Can't wait to see all our lights reflecting off trailer - 640 individual light bulbs last year!!!

After spending two weeks living in it (at least at night) following Hurricane Ike, I can now concentrate on using it somewhere other than my driveway.

We will be there Thursday too. This Thursday I'm still polishing...and polishing...and I am NOT gonna get it done. Would I do all this work for something I didn't like!

Bucky is hooked up to the Expedition and ready to roll out in the morning. We are off to camp in the solitude of Frazier Park, CA, with 150 of our closest friends and celebrate the history of California. Since rain is predicted for Saturday we are well prepared with our aluminum tent, a small keg of beer, and some snake bite medication...

Well, it was Thursday and I loved my Airstream because Friday she took us to Ft. Wilderness for four days for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. We had a blast! This was our fourth year; the third camping with the Airstream. It was early for Halloween decorations, but there was one site that was wall-to-wall Halloween decor.

I saw SilverCabin while we were there. I recognized their rig right off the bat...in fact, it was the first Airstream I saw. I didn't have time to search out every loop, but I did see three other late model plus one vintage Airstream and Sunday afternoon there was a pretty long Argosy motorhome with rear bedroom wrap window parked in the parking lot with the door open. One of the Airstreams I saw was just two doors down from us, but they didn't seem too friendly so I didn't talk to them other than to say hello.

But it was a great weekend with great weather and temps, all be it too short even for a four day weekend.

... Because we're finally on the road Friday for our first weeklong trip, since we became A/Sers! If anyone is in the greater Santa Fe, NM area next week (we'll be at the KOA part of the time), please say howdy.

I love my Airstream because she is a constant reminder that I am going to follow my dream - travel and see the country, stay as long or as briefly as I like wherever it suits me. She's going to give me as much freedom as is possible with this way of life and I'm savoring the anticipation and loving it.

Its Thursday and I like my Airstream because...

Was walking back from the trash bin at a Masachusetts campground one evening this summer and I noticed the under-cabinet lights and couch reading lights -- the glow that came through all those windows and the vistas!!! Very cool, a really bautiful trailer!

We love our airstream (Pearl) because she is taking us on a long weekend to the Oregon State (go beav's) football game and 2 days of tailgating. The weather is looking perfect for a fall weekend and Pearl will look great decked out in her Oregon State outfit.

Because... it has a new fantastic fan where the old AC used to be.
Because it is cleaned and ready for an adventure and..
because there are no piles of paper on the counters waiting to be replied to, filed or shredded.
