I like my Airstream because she has Changed Latitudes on me and patiently awaits us in storage in Florida for our next rendez-vous. Just two more months and we'll be together again!

Thursdays seem to flow downstream in an increasingly rapid movement as years go by. It's another Thursday and my project is in stasis due to monetary tribulations. The Ambassador remains patient and adamantly defiant in its nakedness, bearing the ill weather with a Stoic demeanor. It gives one pause to consider that such an inanimate object could attain the consideration of empathy. Maybe that's why I love my Airstream?

Well, less than a month 'till we are reunited and go for our next adventure. Just three more Thursdays and we rendez vous for a week of fun in the sun.

Because the interior redecoration has begun (although it will be a slow process) and I am excited about it!

Because after obtaining an "almost ready to go" Safari and taking it apart more and more each week to fix "that next little thing" I've finally turned the corner today and started putting things back together! YES! Battery boxes and new 7-pin connector--the first small steps back to wholesomeness, and we're not talking about goody two shoes here, either.

Not to mention the weather is thinking of being almost warm enough for POR-15!

Because

The trailers half loaded and in the A.M. We're heading out to Quarzesite to boondock with a bunch of fellow FCU'ers (thats Four Corners Unit.)

Spring in the desert is the most magicial time of year. The flowers may even be blooming there since they are in Anzo Barrego.

I love my Airstream . . .

Because it's tongue and bumper got a good coat of POR-15 today and only one small smudge of POR-15 ended up on me.

It is Thursday! Our sweet Bambi has its new axle ready and is ready to go! Our tow vehicle has pretty new tires... as soon as I can get "back in the saddle" we will try to fire her up! Each time we travel in her we have new wonderful adventures, see friends, create delightful memories! After the recent hiatus I am ready ~ soon will be able to be back on the road! So sorry we had to miss South Beach! But now the "battery" is charged!

Washed it today. Then had to have a nap in it . It's pretty much ready to go, just need to get US ready to go now. Already anxious to have the smell of a campfire stuck to my clothes.

It's Thursday and just one week and two days 'till we are reunited for a trip to Disney World! Our "Changes in Latitudes" is basking in the sun in her Florida vacation spot (storage lot) waiting to hit the road for the short tow to Ft. Wilderness. I'm counting the days.

Because . . .

It has a repaired LPG line, new LPG auto switchover regulator, and two new polished 30lb LPG tanks sittin' on the newly POR-15'd tongue. Gettin' ready for the Cherry Blossom here. . .

Because - parked right beside it is a '53 Flying Cloud with just towed home dust and grit all over it . Same floor plan, decent shape, and a buddy and his wife are now officially 'streamers. That's two down and 8 to go
