Ask me what, "The dogs" means.

The sets were supplied in two standards: "Box Standard" and "Box Deluxe"

Over the years both phrases have been corrupted and derivated into common slang.

Box Standard became "Bog Standard" meaning the very least you might expect from anything the term might be applied to, it has no extras or enhancements.

On the other hand, Box Deluxe has become an expression for the very best you could hope for and corrupted to "Dog's Bollocks" Also known as, "The Mutts Nuts" and, "The Terriers Testicles"

Airstreams are "The Dogs" That's why I like Thursdays!

love Colorado

Yea! Back home from 10 weeks on the road--Mojave and San Diego and the 4CU rally in between. Next week is a bummer--have to go to Cocoa Beach without even one Airstream. Anyway, got to camp out one night on the way home in the mesquite of eastern Utah, then hurry home to beat the blizzard. Made it by 6 hours or so. Now the highs here are lower than the lows I've been enjoying in California. Nice thing about "here" is that it might very well be summer by Saturday.

Gotta go on a business trip next week, drat the luck. But the snow is getting deep and I don't have an Airstream hangar (hey, when we gettin' a Vintage home port with hangar???!!!! and a bunch of experts just wantin' to help you fix something???), so the window will wait another week.

I should have a shroud in two weeks. One of the experts at Scaled volunteered to lay up the first one.

Just came back from Disney yesterday...we didn't take the Changes with us this trip. Ft. Wilderness was booked so we stayed at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. The weather was great and the parks were terrific fun, although getting crowded. Can't wait to go back for the 4th of July! This time we will take the Changes and it will be at Ft. Wilderness!

Because I de-winterized last week, and am prepping her for the CBR. She's dying to be towed by the new jet black 07 F20 Super Duty crew cab. Just 3 weeks ago she looked like this:

Because most people don't know what an argosy (squarestream) is.I have to pop the door open and show them the airstream tag at the base of the door.I,ve had a couple of" sob "people say they thought it was lot newer than it is (1986).One guy thought it was a 2000 or newer.I guess i enjoy explaining the details, and the attention it brings. The looks on their face is priceless, when I tell them it's twenty+ years old.
