Hey, it's Thursday in Colorado, so that must mean.... you guessed it, snow!! But I love my Airstreams because they patiently sit tight and wait for the next upgrade (new Sovereign double bed is getting its varnish over the next 3 days) or trip (Mojave, CA, here we come in two weeks).
This is Thursday morning (wow, the cars have been dug out all of about 30 hours at this point from the last blizzard ):
This is Thursday around 11 PM:
and it's predicted to be substantially worse Friday. This is just one of the reasons we keep a stockpile of good food on hand and sufficient wine to complement any meal.

We too have some antique items for our Airstream even though it is not a vintage model itself. Our most recent acquisition has been a 1930's Waring "Blendor" beehive blender for making frozen adult beverages. It works beautifully for a 70 year old kitchen appliance. It also makes the smoothest margarittas I ever had.

I was unaware of your literary endeavor. What's it about? Is this the first?

actually, Friday morning
Well, the Thursday snowstorm started a few hours late this week....
this may look almost identical to previous photos, but let me assure you that yesterday there were paths shoveled and driveway spots where you could actually see dirt! The storm should continue for the remainder of the day.
Departing for Mojave next weekend is looking really good!

What we got is an aluminum table ware with a logo "Beunilum" on the bottom. They go with the trailer nicely, says the aluminitis anonymous manual. Search that term on Ebay and you'll see quite a few, which is how we ended up with more than one, hehe. See if you like any of them.

My wife has several pieces of those that she received from her mother when she moved to an assisted living center. We never knew what they were or what they were called other than aluminum serving platers. We use them during holidays, family gatherings, or other times we entertain.
Thanks for the tip on what they are called.

It was purely coincidental that I helped, Minnie's Mate. You're very welcomed!
It's Thursday again, and I love my Airstream because we're taking our trailer to a VW campout by Lake Havasu today! Going to say goodbye to our AZ VW friends before we move next week to Sacramento.

Tis Thursday and I love my Airstream because as I sit here, very early in the morning and look out at a surprise landscape covered with almost 2' of snow in the last 24 hours, the thought of spring arriving soon and sitting beside the lake under the awning with the sun glinting off the shiny aluminum makes the shovelling of all this white crap that much easier. Oh, did I mention it's not me shovelling the snow? That would be my wife since I had this little heart problem . But I know she'll be happy too when all this stuff gets rained away in the next couple of days and we can get back to doing stuff on the trailer.

It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream:
It's Thursday again and I just love my Airstream it helped us complete our first forums rally (can Opener) with no glitches. Now he sits in the driveway ready for a polish job and to get ready for the next rally. What fun it is to own an Airstream.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because with our recent crazy weather and resulting power outages, it's been great to have a little escape pod/emergency shelter in the driveway where I can at least get a nice warm cup of coffee!

It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream...
because it's hitched, packed and ready to roll to Twentynine Palms for the Airstream rally. Heading to beautiful Bakersfield this afternoon for a mini rally tonight and on to Twentynine Plams for the headliner tomorrow.

It's Thursday and we love our Airstream because she got us there and back again, smoothly and safely, there being the gulf coast at the Florida Can Opener. While we were away, our son created a fine parking place for Gypsy, snugged up against the end of our barn, graveled, with 30amp service moved close to her plug in site. She looks like she was born there Sometime, soon we hope, we'd like to build a cover extension from the barn to protect her even more. UMmm, love Thursdays and Airstreams! ~G

What time do you expect the mini caravan to arrive at 29P?

I'm not sure Richard. it kinda depends on when we get up and get rolling. I think it's about 4.5 hours from Bfield so I would estimate early to mid afternoon, depending on the frequency and duration of stops. I am hoping to go over the Tehachapi pass, so if there is snow tonight, we may take an alternate route.

...still LOVE my airstream!
It's Thursday and I still LOVE my airstream because she's packed and ready to head out to 29 Palms for the Winter NorCal Rally. We did a little more polishing this past weekend and now one whole side, plus the two ends gleam like someone loves her! Lots of swirl marks, but there's plenty of time to work on those....
Happy Thursday everyone!
