Hey, 2air, I think I know just where you are going. Sounds like the description of a campground another forum member shared with us and that we've tucked back in our minds for a long weekend getaway. Have a wonderful Ozark escape ~G

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because....
..it is providing me with a full winter of rebuilding to help pass the long dark days. I'm also thankful I get to see it through the garage window everyday going to/from work. It keeps the dream alive.

... the Argosy is home, and it towed as well on the ball as it did with the (non-trustworthy) W.D. equipment in use. (I'm going to get the Reese parts for the tongue so I can use the same ballmount as the Excella.)

I like my airstream because.............
Even though she is put to bed for the winter we have plans for a trip to Florida in March with her and we are very excited to be using her early in the season.

"The Tube" isn't in her winter bed yet (well, she is in her barn but not winterized). We are going out at least two more times before we winterize her.

...because the new insulation is nearly complete and the interior walls will be back in the next time we get out to our trailer (it's 200km from us...). It start looking like a trailer again!

Because tomorrow morning she will accompany us to Disney World! The kids and wife have a four day Fall break from school so we have been planning this trip since the Spring and we will be going to Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween Party and the boys will be Peter Pan (younger) and Captain Hook (older)! This trip we will take the golf cart too. It will be great fun, al be it too short. But it's still a trip to Disney World...our happy place.

Darn trailer is still in JC!
Ok I still love my 'virtual' Airstream, but I am tired of false promises from the RV dealer....

Thursday again, and I like my A/S
I Just purchased my '72 GT in Sept. I love it because everything worked on the maiden voyage last weekend.
This is a polished unit, (MY '98 was not) and last W/E is the first time I've ever been honked at with a thumbs up, and the first time a tour was requested by complete strangers.

Congrats on your 500th post but I can see you are well beyond that number now. I can't say what I like about my airstream because I'm still looking for my dream classic motorhome. I will post back here when I get one.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because today's late afternoon sunshine, breaking through the day-long gloom, just danced off Gypsy's aluminum skin! What a picture: purple clouded sky overhead, rusty reds and gold woods in background, and that late slanted sunshine spotlighting our girl~marvelous!

I love my airstream everday, but
...This Thursday I love my airstream even more because we finally have our new cushions, curtains, and sound system installed. Can't wait to try 'em out at the NorCal Rally this weekend!

Wow Merideth, what beautiful interior you have.
We, the station I work for, borrowed a 22 foot '60 something Safari that needed some real serious work. I could see lots of potential for that poor thing, but, that photo of yours,...just raised the bar.
I like my Airstream, well, because its not some other brand.

It's a few days past Thursday and I love my Airstream because...
it provides a respite from my hectic daily life. I started to winterize her today but the season isn't over yet. We have three cold-weather trips planned so far this year.

It isn't Thursday... But...
Well folks I missed last Thursday and will miss this coming Thursday, so I thought I had better get with it and sing the praises!
It is Tuesday and I my Airstream! She did a great job keeping us comfy on our jaunt down and back to the NorCal Rally at San Antonio! Great time... and our vintage aluminum was happy to meet so many others...
Now she is getting packed and ready for the Beverly Beach Rally! Lots of good times to continue! Doesn't get much better! More good folks, good food, good times, life is good!
See you soon!

Got to love the Three Dog Night reference
have you been to Spain?
But I kinda like the music
Say the ladies are insane there
And they sure know how to use it
They don't abuse it
Never gonna lose it
I can't refuse it
