How many states have you visited?

How many states have you ever visited? (not necessarly camped in) Airport lay-overs don't count. We've been to 49 - all of the lower 48 and Hawaii. Alaska is the only one we haven't been to.

Not related to the poll, but... I've lived in 4 states and the District of Columbia. I was born in NY and lived most of my life in DC with short stints in VA and MD. I'm retired in NM.

45 out of the 48 lower states

I have to hit the Northwest, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. I have lived in New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and California (Northern and Southern - doesn't that count for 2 states?). Alaska and Hawaii are the other two I am missing.

How about Countries you have visited...me, 7 of them- US, Mexica, Canada, Ireland, Kuwait, Hungary, Iraq.

All lower 48 plus Hawaii. Only been to three foreign countries.... Canada, Mexico, and Germany.
Now however, when we pull the AS, we stay mainly east of the Mississippi... only missing Lousiana and Mississppi to have covered all the eastern part of the country!
Sooner or later we're gonna have to head west again! LOL!!

states

We have just 2 states in the lower 48 missing on the map. Will try to get them in the next couple of years. I thing they are ND and AL. That's going to be one strange vacation.

Yeah but how many states have you been in with your trailer or motorhome? With only 12, it seems we're just getting started. Will be adding a few more this Sept. by going to Yellowstone NP. We even have those little state magnets on the oven door.

CA, AZ, NM, TX, OK, KS, MO, IA, IL, IN, MI, & CO

I've lived in Va., NC., SC., MD., TX., NM., CO., NJ. PA. and, finally..NH..lol
Oversea, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Canada, Italy, Greenland (North Pole), and, booked to travel to Namibia in Africa this coming July. This trip will add several more countries to the list as we're looking forward to visit Victoria Falls.
Wished we could take the 64GT...lol

Aside from a few brief excursions into Iowa and Minnesota we have yet to make the big crossing of the Mississippi River. Horace Greeley has assured me that there is land out there and some day we will pack up Chummy and make the trip.

Having owned our Airstream for just under two years, we've visited thirteen states so far and we're looking forward to visiting all forty nine! What a trip it's been so far. We're loving the Airstream experience and can't believe we waited so long.

I have been to 37 states but my wife has been to 49. I think we have logged about 26 states with the Airstream in the past two years. Been to about 25 diffrent countries around the world (Europe/South America/North America/Austrailia/Asia)... I never really thought of how many places I have been to until now.. Wow.. I need a rest !

27 so far. Let's add to our comments: do we keep the record posted somewhere on our Airstream with those funny magnetic or vinyl stickey maps? Yes, we do-vinyl stickies proudly displayed on the inside of the door so that when it is open, we can share with any passers-by A good conversation starter for meeting new traveling friends.

I hadn't thought about countries. For me... Canada, Germany, France, Austria and several trips to Italy. For Rod it's the same with the addition of Sweden and Japan.

As for states - the 49 as I mentioned in my first post and if you add territories - Puerto Rico

I get around

I've been to 49 states. All except Hawaii. My job with a national retailer gets me around the United States a lot. That's one of the fun aspects to head out for a day or two someplace especially in the Winter.

I've lived in Indiana, Ohio, Rhode Island and Minnesota. I guess you could add Massachusetts if being on a Navy ship in the Boston harbor for a month counts.

I am a registered Architect in 11 states, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, Arizona and Montana.

I have eaten deep fried breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches in four states, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.

As for countries, I have been to Canada, Great Britain, British Virgin Islands, Bolivia, and Peru.

You've got me beat - I only maintain my architectural license in the District of Columbia and New Mexico. I'm also a licensed massage therapist in New Mexico.

Yes... I'm a registered architect and licensed massage therapist. Go figure.

Smile Lots more to see

Need to see Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Cal, Nevada, Maine, NH, and others eastern seaboard. Been tent camping in France, Belgium, Ireland, England--it was great! Flew into Charles de Gaulle and rented a Citroen so whenever I made a boo boo driving in England (many), I just waved and said "bonjour bonjour" tee hee with my Fr sticker on the car...
Ireland (republic) was the friendliest to American tent campers! Other countries, of course dear old Canada, El Salvador, and Guatemala.

This is a good one for me to reply to. I have been to 41 of the 50 states and had to remember the number I counted a few months back. So far I have only had my AS for one month and our maiden trip to pick her up was IN, KY,TN, AL, and home to MS. She has been to LA on a short trip to a friends for a look. 6 states on my map that I will buy soon. I hope to do all lower 48 and one day AK.

On the international side - if the country has a port I have been there (with very few exceptions). Quite a few other countries to, but my work as an oceanographer has taken me to many places. As far north as 84 degrees (out of 90 degrees makes that very far north). As far south as 66 degrees, and all the way around the world twice by ship.

I like this thread - but I have to tell you - THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME

I have been to 48 states and almost as many countries. Never hit Navada or North Dakota. However I got got a lot of streaming to do if I want to tow my trailer to all 49 continental states.
