Since picking up our trailer in January .... we have towed it 3,400 miles. We are parked for the winter in Arizona ... so I guess that will be our total for the year.

Moonshot ... I like the name of your trailer!

Well, I'll tow nearly 400 this weekend, which will put us near about 700 this year, which I think is pretty good considering I've only had my A/S since July.

It'll get way more than that this spring when we pull it out to Vegas.

SWe tow about 10,000 miles per year, 5k in the spring, and 5k in the fall -- and love every mile of it!

How many miles will you tow this year?

For the past ten years, I have averaged more than 4,500 miles per year with one of my Airstream product coaches. The 2004 travel season was one of my shorter seasons due to a major move - - only traveled 3,000 miles. Plans for the 2005 season currently include more than 6,000 miles, but much of that is dependent upon the cost of fuel and time availability due to employment change.

Hmmm, I am somewhat surprised by our total.
We did over 2000 miles without going on any big trips! A Commwealth rally here, a WBCCI region 3 rally there, and a couple of unit Rallies and it all adds up.
Looks like next year could be even more miles with Florida State Rally as a first outing

We put on over 6000 this year, thanks to the trip to OK and a seperate trip to a rally in CA. Then there were the trips to Ashland, OR. It all adds up quick!

I think the poll needs a few more options with higher numbers. 1500 isn't all that much, I'm sure we got that much in our first year towing! Maybe it's the wide open spaces out here, we have to go further to get where we're going. Next year we're off to Mt Rushmore, so I'm expecting several thousand more miles. Good thing I got that new axel!

In the last three years, we've averaged about 2000 miles per year and 30-35 nights out.

2005 will be much higher (over 5500/60+nights) as we will attend International and National Rallies which we haven't done before. Not bad for working folks!

I agree. I'll ask a moderator to add a new item or two and modify the last one. Thanks!

I've added a couple of options for the 'high-octane' travelers ~

If you've already voted and want me to change your poll, let me know via a PM and I will do so.

If you have a motorhome, please feel free to chime in with your mileage.

I don't live in that world so it just didn't cross my mind when creating the poll. Sorry!

We took the Southwest Caravan the round trip was over 7k. We already had a trip to Florida there and back about 1600 miles. Then the weekend rallys in Virginia 200-500 usually. They add up quick but they are a lot of fun.

With only a few trips a year, we still managed to pull 3250 miles. WOW, those add up quick. Since having the trailer ready to roll since June 2002, we've done just under 9500. Wish I'd have put in an odometer when the new axle went in.

We did about 10,000 last year, I would imagine this will be much the same, though it is already the last day of January, and we have only done 800..

God willing

Many more!! Put on 3600 to the Southwest so far this year and headed now for another about 2800 to the Southeast (including Sarasota Rally) and back. Who knows what the rest of the year will bring. Very happy with the Airstream both on the road and stopped. Traveling has never been so comfortable.

10,000, at least

Living in Texas, the miles appreciate very quickly, even without leaving the state. A simple round trip this spring to Big Bend is about 1,000 miles.

So far, with 2 trips this year, we have about 600 miles. The Region Rally and the International will put on about 1100 and 1200 miles respectively. Eureka Springs to play banjo Labor Day will be another 1200 miles. Our 5 unit rallies will be at least another 1000 miles.

Add a bunch of 200 to 300 miles round trips to state parks and musical events and we are in at least the 10,000 range.

It doesn't take long for the miles to add up. Just went to the Florida State Rally and then a little side trip to Miami all in all 2050 miles.
We are going to Region 3 in Winston Salem 550 miles then International in Springfield that will be another 2350 miles.
