Forums use Poll: Fun, fan or need a fix?

Up until the last couple of weeks I've been here a lot. As a matter of fact our folks ran some history of sites accessed by all the folks here at the convention center. Apparently airstreamforums.com is #4 on the list of most accessed sites. Unfortunately I wish I could say that lots of others here are looking at it.

I have been admitted several times for "airstreamforums.com" withdrawal when ever I have other things to do. It has gone far beyond any addiction - It was easier to quit smoking than it is to ignore this site for more than a day!

I guess it would help if I did not have auto e-mail on various threads - cutting down the number of times my computer pings letting me know someone has repsonded to a thread I am reading.

Also depends on the project or possible projects relating to the airstreams. Or ideas I like to read about or ask questions. Then of course the contraversial topics over the past 2 years for me have been a bit of a time eater.

Althought I must admit - I slowed down for a while - when many of the people that were on in the year 2004 seemed to move on to ???bigger and better things??? but found out later that they are all lurking

I'm in denial, having indicated for the poll that I only log on once per day. I don't expect to confess the truth anytime soon. Sure do learn a lot, and I'm having a good time. . .

I only log on once a day too...just never log off

...............I must say this forum has grown on me , especially since the software has been updated . The old forum where the Oldest posts were at the top of the page was completely "bass Ackwards" and I never really cared for that format . Much easier to keep up with current topics and peruse the posts for new threads . r66
