Vinyl wraps

Has anyone put a wrap on an Argosy? I have clear coat peeling on top and thinking it would be pretty cool to have a 70's inspired striped wrap done for the top half.

Can it stick to aluminum and to the steel end caps.

I am following this thread because I am looking into a wrap to cover some extensive scratches on my roadside. May also do it the old fashion way with paint.

For a wrap the prices I found were between $5 - $10 sq foot.

Should I just power wash the entire clear coat down to the midway belt line, from there down its solid?

That way, I can have smooth surface to apply a graphic, no matter the size?
