Shell off renovation 1975 22' Argosy

Hi everyone,

Just want to share our adventure renovating our girl ''Argobambi''

When we bought her she had already new axels and new belly made on diamond sheet and the frame also was treated with POR15. The interior was already clean from insulation.

Our work was to assemble a puzzle since we never had seen an airstream before. A lot of a 2015 Bambi parts came with the purchase. Our girl now has an old shell with a ''new'' interior.

A lot of research online and I want to say THANK YOU to all the Airstream Forum Members for sharing all the knowledge they have. I learn a lot by reading this forum!

We are still working in the exterior. Waiting for the spring to give her a new paint job

Finally home! Putting the subfloor. We put the black and grey tanks in the middle and water tank in the front. It was a puzzle since the tanks didn't fit well.
We tried to respect the 60% rule (less weight in the back).

My husband with a beard after some woking days lol. More insulation. After the subfloor was time to see the wall layout because they are different from a Bambi and an Argosy Electricity done. We put also the wall insulation. We decided to use Silverboard with the air gap and reflectix on the end caps. We are very happy with this method! Our Argosy has fibreglass end caps not steel

Looks great!!! I'm impressed!
How did you get the inside of the exterior skin so clean?
How did you attach the silverboard to the shell?

Thanks

I just cleaned with mild detergent and water lol
About the silverboard, the small pieces I used both-side tape. We used insulation foam on the ribs with silver tape.
Please pic...sorry for my bad english
