Sharing Our 1988 29’ Renovation

Hi All,

We are about 3 weeks from leaving to FT RV in our Argosy which we purchased last fall for my son to stay in and possibly a rental on our property. It was in its original form. We gutted it and the work began. In the process we decided to sell our house as my son is heading to Colorado for school and travel full time until we figure out where we want to land. We currently live in the mountains of Santa Cruz, Ca so the hunt for the perfect place will be tough but renting the house out wasn’t a viable option and neither was working until we are 80 to pay the mortgage. We are really excited even though the last 4 months have been terribly stressful as we have been working non stop under a time crunch.

Here is what our girl Josephine is looking like as she’s nearing the finish line.

BTW, along with totally gutting her and rebuilding we also installed solar, an inverter, Dickinson propane stove/heater, new water pumps, on demand water heater, composting toilet, new tank gauges and new electrical wiring.

Awesome renovation! Everything looks extremely well thought out and executed. We are also nearing the end of a full gut renovation on our 345LE, so we know how excited you must be. Good luck and safe travels!

You did a very nice job, a very attractive interior look.

I took liberties with one of your photos and turned it to the correct direction, just resized, smaller, a smidge.Click image for larger version

That looks really good, well done. What is very impressive -how fast you did it, that is spectacular and a lot of work.

Thank you everyone. It’s been a lot of work and I think once we are looking at the Grand Tetons it will all be worth it.
