Question sewage dump hose

On our recently purchased 1978 24ft Argosy the pipe that the dump hose fits on is a different size (larger) than on previous sobs
Is there an adaptor that will fit what seems to be the standard hose and connect to the existing dump pipe on the Argosy,if so where might i find one?

New trailers use Valterra fittings. The older ones used Thetford - slightly larger. Vintage Trailer Supply may have Valterra/Thetford adaptors. All the modern hoses you buy have the Valterra type fittings. Just put the adaptor on the outlet valve of the trailer.

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.

<My dumb mistake....fix

On our last trip I lost the OEM dumper cap....my bad, not secured properly.

This ended up being the 2hr Camping World on the road fix.
After insisting that the covers they had would fit, they didn't, we tried them all. I showed them that the spare end of a dump extension hose I had did fit. (the adaptor that FA mentioned, the white part in the photo) The the blue cap they had in stock fit tightly over that, I used Marine-Tex to bond them together.

Look for a hose adaptor that has just two "hooks" as opposed to the AS's four, that is the only style that will fit ours.

Hope this helps,
